Brewers scrap new deal with MLB, return to former TV partner for local broadcasts in 2025

(WLUK) — Where you can find Milwaukee Brewers telecasts in 2025 is changing, once again.

On Tuesday, the team announced it has reached a new agreement with Diamond Sports Group, owner of FanDuel Sports Network — recently rebranded from Bally Sports — to produce and distribute local broadcasts in 2025.

News broke in October that Major League Baseball would be handling the production and distribution of Brewers games after Diamond Sports Group’s contract with the Brewers expired at the end of Milwaukee’s regular season.

A news release says the Brewers’ rights agreement with FanDuel Sports Network will replace their previously-announced arrangement with MLB Media.

“Our top priority is to ensure that Brewers games are available to fans regardless of where they live and how they connect to the broadcasts,” Brewers President of Business Operations Rick Schlesinger said, in part. “We look forward to working with FanDuel Sports Network to deliver the best content in and around our game telecasts.”

The decision to continue our rights agreement with FanDuel Sports Network ensures that fans will have seamless access to watch the Brewers in 2025, while enjoying the same high quality productions and roster of on-air talent that fans have enjoyed over the years. We appreciate the efforts of Major League Baseball in supporting our continued long-term relationship with FanDuel Sports Network and we look forward to what we know will be an exciting year for our fans watching at the ballpark, at home, and on-the-go.

According to Brewers officials, FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin will offer live games to fans across cable and satellite. There will also be a direct streaming package available through the FanDuel Sports Network app.

Each game telecast on FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin will feature 30-minute pregame and 30-minute postgame shows. With the exception of games selected for national partners, FanDuel Sports Network Wisconsin will televise all Brewers regular season games, plus a selection of Spring Training contests, the team says.

Anyone who streamed 2024 Brewers games using the Bally Sports app should update to the new FanDuel Sports Network app to watch games for the 2025 season.

Diamond Sports is owned by Sinclair Broadcast Group, parent company of WLUK FOX 11.
