Wake up, the Denver Broncos are making moves.
After previously agree to two- and three-year deals with quarterback Jarrett Stidham and long snapper Mitchell Fraboni, respectively, on Sunday, the Broncos are now closing in on a deal with defensive lineman D.J. Jones.
Zac Stevens of DNVR Sports first reported on Sunday evening that “D.J. Jones is re-signing with the Broncos.” Shortly thereafter, ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler tweeted Denver was closing in on a deal with Jones worth around $13 million per season.
Five minutes later, the Denver Post’s Parker Gabriel reported that the Broncos have “agreed to terms” on a contract with Jones. He’s officially staying in Denver.
