The release of “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)” marks the start of a new chapter for the BTS member. Not only is it his first release since the release of Hope on the Street Vol. 1 in March of last year, it’s also his first release since being discharged from the military on October 17, 2024.
Described as “a soulful blend of pop and R&B” which “expresses the desire to love and be loved,” “Sweet Dreams” combines Miguel’s honeyed vocals with j-hope’s trademark suave rap with all-English lyrics. Watch the music video for “Sweet Dreams (feat. Miguel)” below:
The single arrives at a premium time for j-hope, as he just started his first-ever solo world tour, Hope on the Stage. With a total of 31 shows across 15 cities, the tour started in Seoul with three shows at the KSPO DOME that were also livestreamed to viewers worldwide via Weverse, and he will now embark on a journey across North America and Asia.
