Chris Boswell with hilarious IG post after DK Metcalf trade


Everyone expected the Pittsburgh Steelers to make waves in free agency but they just couldn’t wait. On Sunday, the Steelers pulled off an improbable trade for former Seattle Seahawks wide receiver DK Metcalf. This gives the Steelers a dynamic duo of receivers with George Pickens. It should also make the life of whoever is the starting quarterback next season. Even if it’s kicker Chris Boswell.

Boswell threw his hat in the ring shortly after the trade with a hilarious viral post on Instagram calling his shot to throw to Metcalf and Pickens this season. Boswell is sure he can split time between being the best kicker in the NFL with throwing a few deep balls to Pickens and Metcalf.

The Steelers traded for Metcalf in exchange for the team’s second-round pick in the 2025 NFL draft. The move gives the Steelers a legitimate No. 1 wide receiver for the upcoming season but does put the future of Pickens with the team in question.
