As longtime readers will likely know, Film Study HQ is not located within the Great State of Ohio, but rather, a couple of states west, in Chicago. After a short trip up Ashland Avenue, this writer witnessed last Saturday’s 31-7 Ohio State victory over Northwestern in person.

While I wasn’t in the press box with Dan and Andy, I did manage to capture some hard-hitting footage of a historic event:

After a long day in Wrigleyville, however, I still managed to break down some film.

Here’s what we go over in this week’s video breakdown:
  • Northwestern’s use of designed, QB draws in RPOs
  • OSU leaned on a 3-4 look defensively
  • Will Howard took the lid off the Northwestern defense
  • The Wildcats’ reliance on Tampa 2 came back to bite them
