HGTV Fans Can’t Get Over Hilary Farr’s Gray Hair: “Fabulous!”

Love It Or List It is returning to HGTV this month, but sadly longtime host Hilary Farr will not be returning to the series. We’re thrilled to see designer Page Turner take the helm alongside David Visentin. Still, fans are missing Hilary!

Thankfully, the 73-year-old star is keeping her fans updated on Instagram, and she’s showing off a stunning new look. In new videos, Hilary explains that she’s embarking on a renovation of her Toronto kitchen. What started as a painting project turned into a more serious renovation. She jokes that she’s not yet sure if she’s renovating it to love it or to list it. Her former cohost David chimed in to say, “Are you really going to make me say it? Of course you design to List It! You know where to reach me ;).”

As she packed up her cabinets for the renovation, Hilary shared a helpful tip: using styrofoam plates to protect dishes. Fans are surely filing this tip away for their next move, but the star of the video is Hilary’s gorgeous hair. She’s gone gray, and she looks stunning.

Fans wrote comments like, “Your hair is fabulous!😍” and “Love seeing you! You look fab as a fellow silver sister 🌟” Another wrote, “I love your hair! I’ve gone “natural” too.”

One commenter admitted she was apprehensive about embracing her gray hair: “What made you go gray for your hair? I’m considering it, so tired of the expense. I’m married my husband doesn’t care, I’m just a little verklempt!” Hilary responded with the best message, writing, “Grow it out and if you hate it- go back to coloring your hair..❤️”

We miss seeing Hilary on HGTV but we’re so happy she’s keeping us updated on Instagram!
