The airline has launched a special discount for students that allows them to carry extra luggage in addition to a host of other benefits and discounts. Get Six Per Cent Discount With IndiGo Student Special Offer

According to an article which was recently published by The Indian Express or the IE, this particular student discount was announced on Friday, November 22, 2024. The offer, designed specifically for students, will give a six per cent discount on the base fare of the flight.

In addition to this, it will also allow students to carry an extra ten kg of luggage! So if you have a lot of stuff to bring from home to your campus, you can do so without worrying about incurring extra charges! That’s not all! If, for some reason, you have to change your flight, you won’t be charged for it at all! Yes, you read that right! No extra charges for flight changes!

Must Produce Valid ID; Can Only Be Availed On Domestic Flights

If in case, you opt for this offer, it must be noted that you will have to show an official valid ID to prove that you’re a student at the time of check-in. In case you fail to do so, you will have to incur charges as per usual.

What is more, this offer is applicable only on domestic flights and not on International flights. The offer is valid for students above the age of 12 years. It should also be noted that the tickets once booked, cannot be transferred.

The offer is also only for bookings made directly through the official website of IndiGo Airlines.
