Winter break? Not for Keke Palmer’s 22-month-old baby Leodis “Leo” Andrellton! The sweet toddler was hard at work playing and enjoying some of his favorite things during a holiday getaway with his family — and every picture is overflowing with cuteness.
In a joint post between the Nope star and her son (whose Instagram account is run by his mom), Baby Leo explained why he’s been away from Instagram for a little while. “Hey insta family! It’s been awhile, been too busy Livin’ ayeee.”

This toddler is living it up, obviously! “The real Boss Baby is in the house and I am as happy as can be,” the captioned continued. It explained how Leo spent time in Big Bear, California with his family, who “were all so obsessed with me it was great.” Spoken exactly like a toddler! In the caption, Palmer added, “I got gifts from them and a man named Santa who looked like something out of a horror movie. I cried looking at him!”
My 3-year-old still thinks Santa is scary, so I don’t blame Leo at all! The presents, however, were nothing short of delightful. “I also got a cool train set and my mommy lovesss building them with me!” the caption continued. Along with playing with train tracks, Leo also loves “reading even though I can’t read, my auntie Rennie was the same way.”
“Spent time with my daddy before he goes back to work, I had a great holiday and new year,” the captioned finished. “I thank God! (My mommy teaches me prayer time and it’s a fun ritual that we do together.) I may be the boss baby but I’m a grateful King! 😅”
The adorable post also included several photos of Leo, including one of the little boy all bundled up at a football game with his mom, where he played with a big blue car toy. Another photo showed him sprawled out in the stroller reading a board book. On the plane, he cuddled up in his mama’s lap watching a video on Palmer’s phone (or planning his cool Instagram content maybe!). There’s also a picture of Leo focused on his train set, and a few snaps of Jackson holding his son.
This low-key family time was a stark departure from another holiday party. On Dec. 22, the One of Them Days star posted photos from a holiday party she hosted with her friend and Key TV founding partner Nora. Palmer looked gorgeous with her hair in a slicked-back ponytail with gold dangly earrings and a low-cut red dress, and baby Leo was dressed up in a little tan jacket with jeans and his curly hair up in a man bun.
“I had such an amazing time hosting a holiday party with my bestie @noraradd this past weekend for our family and friends,” Palmer captioned the post. “This next year of our life truly consists in pouring into the people that pour into us, annually!”
“Life can be so overwhelming and overstimulating lol. It felt really good to celebrate one another in a safe space curated for those we love the most,” she added.
It’s so true, and we love seeing how Palmer got some much-needed downtime with Leo and other loved ones this season!
