The young actress has always been enthusiastic about fashion, but in recent weeks, her choices have leaned into a more experimental flair. This Wiederhoeft Fall 2024 ensemble—a bow-embellished tulle and silk-blend satin bustier top paired with a tulle skirt adorned with yet more bows—felt like a celebration of her evolving style. It’s dramatic, youthful, and a little bit theatrical, but isn’t that the point?
Some might argue that the bows veer into “too much” territory or that the sheer fingerless gloves were an unnecessary accessory. And yes, I hear those who may label this as bordering on costumey. But my question is this: if you’re not going to have fun with fashion at 25, then when?
This is exactly the kind of look that works for someone in Kiernan’s position—a young actress unafraid to take risks and clearly having fun with her red carpet choices.
That said, the one thing that could have elevated this look even further for me would have been a sleeker hairstyle. A simple ponytail would have provided a cleaner canvas to let the drama of the outfit truly shine.
Whether or not you love every detail, there’s no denying that Kiernan is embracing her moment with boldness, and for that, I applaud her.
