Manny Pacquiao Joins Netflix’s ‘Physical: Asia’

Manny Pacquiao is set to join Netflix‘s upcoming Physical: 100 spin-off, Physical: Asia.

The streamer announced that the boxing legend will serve as the Philippine representative in the survival reality competition show, which is set to debut in the fourth quarter of the year. Physical: Asia expands Physical: 100’s grueling physical individual matchups to a “high-stakes team competition featuring top-tier athletes representing their respective countries.” Teamwork is of high importance in the series; if one teammate falls, the rest of the squad is eliminated.

PacMan, who served as a Philippine politician during the latter end of his boxing career, is the only boxer in history to win titles in eight different weight divisions as well, hold world championship titles across four decades between the ’90s to the 2020s and become a four-time welterweight champion. He also became the oldest welterweight world champion in history at 40 years old.

Stay tuned for an official trailer and release date.
