ST. LOUIS, Mo. (First Alert 4) – All MetroTransit transportation services are experiencing delays on Sunday due to the winter weather.
As of 6:45 a.m., Sunday, all MetroTranist entities are experiencing delays and restrictions in routes.
MetroLink trains are experiencing up to 30-minute delays due to the weather. MetroTransit says that the Blue Line MetroLink trains will only operate between Shrewsbury-Lansdowne I-44 and Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink Stations through Sunday.
There will be no Via Metro STL rides after 6 p.m. They will return to service at 8 a.m. Monday.
MetroTransit said that most of their buses experience delays of over 20 minutes due to road conditions. The following MetroBus routes are operating on snow routes:
#1 Main Street-State Street (IL)
#30 Arsenal
#41 Lee
#70 Grand
#79 Ferguson-Clayton
#90 Hampton
#97 Delmar
The frequency of MetroBus routes: #70 Grand, #8 Shaw-Cherokee, #16 City Limits, #4 Natural Bridge, and #95 Kingshighway were reduced starting at 6:30 p.m.
MetroTransit said Metro Call-A-Ride will contact customers directly if their trip is delayed. Customers can also call 314.982.1505 to check on the status of their trip.
