A New York City company has claimed a $5 million prize on a scratch-off game in the New York Lottery.

The Ridgewood-based 920 VIP Limited Liability Company has claimed the top prize in the New York Lottery’s VIP Millions scratch-off game. The ticket was purchased at Kim’s Newsstand, located at 565 Fifth Ave. in Manhattan.

The LLC opted to receive a one-time lump sum payment totaling $3,061,200, after required withholdings, according to officials.

As of this writing, there are two top prizes worth $5 million remaining in this scratch-off game.

Players can check the status of any New York Lottery scratch-off game by downloading the Game Report at nylottery.ny.gov.

Tickets for this game are $30 each. To play, you must match any of your numbers to any of the winning numbers to win the prize shown.

The top prize is $5 million. The odds of winning this top prize are 1 in 5.5 million, according to the New York Lottery.
