Ocasio-Cortez to join Sanders to rally in Idaho


Boise, ID (CBS2) — Congresswoman Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez and Senator Bernie Sanders are set to visit Idaho for a rally titled “Fighting Oligarchy: Where We Go From Here.” The Idaho Democratic Party announced on social media that the event will take place on Monday, April 14, at the Ford Idaho Center in Nampa.

The rally comes amid increasing demonstrations and rallies against the Trump administration, with Sanders and other prominent Democrats actively participating in public events.

The event is free to attend, though RSVPs are suggested. Parking will be available on a first-come, first-served basis.
