One TTUN player quit on the team and likely won’t play the Ohio State football team

The Ohio State football team is fully prepared to take on TTUN in The Game this weekend. We know what injuries they are dealing with on the offensive line. Other than that, everyone else should be good to go, unless something happens in practice in the next couple of days.

Michigan is not the same way. They have injuries to Colston Loveland and Will Johnson. Those two guys are their best offensive and defensive players respectively. Loveland is trying hard to come back and will probably play. The same can’t be said for Johnson.

Johnson has missed the last four games with a toe injury. Initially, TTUN expected to have him back before the end of the season. It seems that Johnson has milked his injury as a reason to shut it down before the NFL Draft starts. He doesn’t seem like he’s going to play the Ohio State Buckeyes.

To be honest, Johnson looks like he’s quitting on TTUN. He wants to protect his draft stock and not worry about playing the rest of his team’s games. It reminds me a lot of what Jaxon Smith-Njigba did to the Buckeyes a couple of years ago. He shut it down when he could have come back too.

In both cases, these guys are leaving their team high and dry. What JSN did was arguably worse since Ohio State had a chance to win a national championship. Still, Johnson has a shot to go out with yet another win against the Buckeyes. Not only that, he has a shot to show he can shut down Jeremiah Smith, which would raise his draft stock further.

Instead, it looks like he’s scared to take on Smith. Smith probably would have dominated him anyway. He’s dominated every other corner he’s faced this season. I expect Saturday to be no different.
