Raiders free agency 2025: The big spending has already started

The Las Vegas Raiders were poised to have the second most salary-cap room in the NFL when the legal tampering period begins Monday at 9 a.m. PT.

However, after a pre-free agency spending blitz, the team reportedly now has the 14th most cap room.

But that’s OK because they still have money to help fill their many needs and they’ve already checked some big boxes.

The Raiders still should be busy starting Monday. Among the free agents they have been connected to are cornerback Byron Murphy of the Minnesota Vikings and wide receiver Chris Godwin of the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. They are both expected to get big deal and they both play positions of priority for the Raiders.

Las Vegas also have multiple in-house free gents whoa re priorities. they include linebacker Robert Spillane, safety Tre’von Moehrig, defensive end Malcolm Koonce, cornerback Nate Hobbs and linebacker Divine Deablo.

So, while they have already spent big, expect more checks to signed out of Henderson in the coming days.
