Soldier Field to Host a Giant Super Bowl Watch Party in Chicago for Free in 2025

The Chicago Bears season has come to an end (mercifully), but fans will have the opportunity to watch more football at Soldier Field next month. Although this year’s Super Bowl will be played at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans, football fans across the nation will be treated to a pretty special experience at a variety of different stadiums on February 9.

Verizon has just announced that it will be hosting a unique FanFest across all 30 NFL markets on Super Bowl LIX Sunday, offering “food and beverages from locally-owned small businesses, meet and greets with local football heroes, live local music acts, interactive games and unique football fan experiences”—all for free.

In Chicago specifically, the shenanigans will take place at Soldier Field. Keep in mind that, although tickets are free, they are limited and will be distributed on a first-come, first-serve basis. You can request yours right here.

Between 3:30pm and 9pm, ticket holders will get to watch the big game live from within the stadium while meeting Bears rookie wide receiver Rome Odunze and other NFL players.

There will also be elevated game day food on offer, a local DJ that will get the masses pumped and a slew of unique interactive activities for everyone to get involved in—including a tour of the locker rooms, the chance to snap a selfie from the 50-yard line or spike a ball in the end zone. Think of it as a giant watch party.

“Super Bowl LIX is the most anticipated sporting event of the year but few get to experience it in person; we wanted to bring that collective excitement and energy to fans across the country with once-in-a-lifetime access they’ll never forget,” said Leslie Berland, EVP, Chief Marketing Officer at Verizon, in an official statement.

The Bears won’t be playing in this year’s Super Bowl … but who says Chicagoans can’t still have fun on game day?
