Hollywood icon Sylvester Stallone
breaks bad in this action thriller from last year, which holds one of the rarest ratings on review aggregator site Rotten Tomatoes, and is all set to crash onto free streaming this month. Released in November 2024, Armor
sadly did not attain a rare 100% score, instead the thriller, which finds Stallone in charge of a crew of thieves attempting to break into an armored truck, landed a rock-bottom rating of 0%. Making it something of a cinematic anomaly, and thus surely worth a watch.
Directed by Justin Routt and written by Cory Todd Hughes and Adrian Speckert, Armor stars Sylvester Stallone alongside Jason Patric (The Lost Boys, The Losers), Dash Mihok (Ray Donovan, The Thin Red Line), Josh Wiggins (Giant Little Ones, Walking Out, Mean Dreams), Blake Shields (Heroes, The Hollow), Erin Ownbey (Atlanta, Echo). Armor is all set to land on free streaming platform Tubi
from March 31, and you can check out the official synopsis below.

9 Movies Sylvester Stallone Regrets Making
Sylvester Stallone is presumably proud of the person he’s become, but he has a few regrets about his life, especially concerning some of his movies.
“Academy Award Nominee Sylvester Stallone and Jason Patric star in an action-packed, thriller about the lengths one man will go to save what’s left of his family and reclaim his own life. James and his son Casey are armored truck drivers tasked with delivering a suspicious package. After a violent ambush on the road, James and Casey are trapped until they discover the value of what they have been carrying and join forces to outgun and outwit their attackers.”
‘Armor’ Is Just One of Several Misfires From Lionsgate Lately
The action thriller from the Rambo and Expendables star became the latest member of a notorious Rotten Tomatoes club after landing a score of 0% thanks to 25 approved reviews. Dennis Harvey of Variety found, well, nothing to like about Armor, criticizing everything from the script by Cory Todd Hughes and Adrian Speckert to the disappointing action thrills, saying, “Neither its staging nor its performances transcend the limitations of Adrian Speckert and Cory Todd Hughes’ script, leaving mediocre material unredeemed by any special thrills, style, or character detailing.” Glenn Kenny of RogerEbert.com, meanwhile, scored the movie just 1 out of 4, and found Stallone to be far “less motivated” than he has been recently in his acclaimed crime series, Tulsa King, concluding, “Even at its relatively trim 89-minute runtime, “Armor” feels padded.”
Finally, Aidan Kelley of Collider rated Armor a paltry 3/10, and harshly compared the action outing to the likes of other recent failures such as The Crow and Borderlands. It’s been a rough time for Lionsgate recently.
“Where Lionsgate’s other ill-fated action ventures like Borderlands and The Crow might be remembered as examples of what not to do for an action film, Armor may not even be remembered at all.”
Armor is not the only recent Stallone movie to receive a score of 0% on Rotten Tomatoes, with the action star’s action crime thriller Alarum also joining the infamous club. Thankfully, the actor will get a chance to redeem himself, as Tulsa King Season 3 is in the works.
