Hoping to keep its faint Big 12 title game hopes alive, No. 22 Iowa State heads to Utah for a 6:30 p.m. CT contest Saturday. FOX will televise the game.
The Cyclones (8-2, 5-2 Big 12 Conference) got back on track last week after two straight losses, securing a 34-17 home win over Cincinnati to keep Iowa State alive for the Big 12 championship game. At minimum, that starts with the Cyclones winning their final two games.
On the other side, Utah was projected as the preseason Big 12 champ by many. This season has been anything but that. The Utes (4-6, 1-6) enter on a six-game losing streak following a 4-0 start, needing wins over Iowa State and UCF just to make a bowl. Utah suffered a 49-24 loss at Colorado last time out.
