Kentucky football won’t play in a bowl game this season, but the Wildcats still have an opportunity to end their season with an upset victory over in-state rival Louisville in the Governor’s Cup.
The Wildcats (4-7) have won the last five Governor’s Cups, including last year’s 38-31 victory.
The series is tied, 10-10, at Kroger Field, but the Wildcats lead the all-time series, 20-15.
The Cardinals’ (7-4) last win in the series was in 2017, when they defeated the host Cats 44-17.
