Coming into tonight’s (Apr. 11) episode of SmackDown, Zelina Vega had no luck in her pursuit of Women’s United States Champion Chelsea Green. The numbers game of Piper Niven and Alba Fyre backing up the champ is always too much for Vega to deal with.

Vega’s luck changed tonight when Niven and Fyre were too banged up from a gauntlet match to help Chelsea when she took on Zelina in a non-title match. The action quickly spilled out of the ring. Chelsea tossed Zelina back into the squared circle, but she was so upset about her Secret Hervice not being there at ringside that she took a little too long complaining to the commentary team about it. That was enough time for Green to lose the match via count out.

Is this the exact kind of win Zelina needed to finally earn herself a title match against Chelsea? I guess we’ll find out soon enough, Cagesiders.
